Through the support of DIA and other donors, we can operate a small but growing FOOD BANK enabling us to help local families struggling to feed themselves and their children.
You can help by adding items to the trolley at the entrance to the DIA supermarket on La Manga Club or bringing non-perishable food items to our shop.

Throughout 2024, our goal is to secure a consistent monthly donation of at least €600 to bolster the El Buen Samaritano Food Bank in Cartagena. This invaluable organisation provides weekly food parcels to over 600 families, with additional families awaiting assistance. Originating nearly two decades ago, the LMC Owners Charity initiated this regular donation to supply fresh chicken to countless families in poverty across the Cartagena region. To meet the growing demand and counter rising food prices, we seek new supporters to help elevate our giving to €1000 per month. A small sacrifice, such as 50 cents, may seem inconsequential, but it accumulates over time and can make a substantial impact. Beyond aiding El Buen Samaritano, this fundraising effort will also benefit other causes supported by Yo-Encuentro and The Children’s Project, including our own Food Bank dedicated to assisting local families in need. Your contribution, regardless of size, helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing challenges in our community.
We are dedicated to supporting a variety of causes from relief of poverty, education, healthcare, disaster relief and animal welfare. We are committed to support smaller charities that may find it more difficult to raise funds or gain recognition.
